getting there

By air

For those flying in to join us, Albany International Airport (ALB) is the most convenient gateway, located just 30 minutes from Coxsackie. If you are traveling from further away or plan to spend time in the city before heading north, all major New York City airports (JFK, LGA, and EWR) offer a picturesque journey into the Hudson Valley.

By car (from NYC)

The drive from New York City is approximately 2.5 hours. For a more relaxing alternative, we highly recommend Amtrak’s Empire Service from Penn Station to the Hudson, NY station. This scenic two-hour train ride follows the river and offers beautiful views of the valley. From the Hudson station, it is a short 20-minute drive to Coxsackie.

Because the Hudson station is a popular destination, we recommend booking your Amtrak tickets on the Empire Service a few weeks in advance. Trains tend to fill up quickly on weekends during the Hudson Valley wedding season.
